Terms & Conditions

Welcome to South Florida Beach Volleyball. By registering for or participating in any of our leagues, tournaments, or events, you agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before signing up.

1. Registration & Eligibility

  • All participants must be 18 years of age or older to join South Florida Beach Volleyball leagues or events.

  • Registration is only complete once:

    1. Players register with USA Volleyball as required.

    2. Payment for league fees has been received in full.

  • Teams and players must be officially rostered before participating in any matches.

2. Payment & Fees

  • All league and tournament fees are non-refundable except in cases where the event is canceled by South Florida Beach Volleyball.

  • Payments must be submitted by the posted deadlines to secure placement in the league or tournament.

  • Teams failing to submit full payment before the first scheduled game may forfeit their spot.

3. League Rules & Regulations

  • Players agree to abide by all South Florida Beach Volleyball rules, including gameplay, scoring, and rotation guidelines as provided on the website or at registration.

  • All decisions made by referees and league officials are final.

  • Teams using unregistered or non-rostered players may forfeit games at the discretion of the league officials.

4. Player Conduct

  • Sportsmanship: All participants must show respect toward referees, staff, teammates, and opponents.

  • Zero Tolerance Policy: Any form of fighting, violence, harassment, or abusive language may result in immediate removal from the league with no refund.

  • Ejections & Bans: Players ejected twice in one season or involved in any violent conduct may be permanently banned from future South Florida Beach Volleyball events.

5. Scheduling & Forfeits

  • Matches will be scheduled by South Florida Beach Volleyball and posted through League Republic.

  • Teams unable to field the minimum number of players (as per league rules) by the scheduled start time may forfeit the match.

  • Forfeits are recorded in the standings as per the league’s scoring policies.

6. Assumption of Risk & Liability

  • Beach volleyball is a physical sport. By participating, players assume all risks associated with playing, including injuries.

  • South Florida Beach Volleyball, its organizers, referees, and sponsors are not liable for injuries, accidents, or lost property that may occur before, during, or after games.

  • Players are encouraged to seek medical advice before participating if they have health concerns.

7. Media & Photography

  • By participating, players consent to the use of photographs, videos, and other media taken during events for promotional purposes on the South Florida Beach Volleyball website, social media, or marketing materials.

8. Policy Updates

  • South Florida Beach Volleyball reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on the website, and continued participation implies acceptance of the updated terms.
